Job Summary:

Cara Lodge is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Banqueting Supervisor. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the successful execution of banqueting events, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience for our guests.
 

Responsibilities:

  1. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating banqueting events, including weddings, conferences, and social gatherings.

  2. Supervision: Oversee the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring that all aspects run smoothly and according to the client's specifications.

  3. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and support to the banqueting staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

  4. Customer Service: Interact with clients and guests to ensure their needs are met and exceed their expectations.

  5. Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and presentation in the banqueting area.

  6. Problem Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during events promptly and professionally.

  7. Inventory Management: Keep track of banquet supplies, equipment, and materials, ensuring proper storage and organization.

  8. Training: Participate in training sessions for banqueting staff, helping to enhance their skills and knowledge.
     

Qualifications:

  1. Previous experience in a banqueting or events role is highly desirable.

  2. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  4. Leadership abilities and the capacity to work effectively in a team.

  5. Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.

  6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
